Taven is a prince. He must find his father. He lives in a realm outside the Earthrealm. He travels to the Earthrealm thanks to a dragon friend who helps him on his quest. He fights all of the enemies of the game in order to find his father. He allies with some of the characters, like Sub-Zero. He takes items, wins koins and kills enemies. The koins are useful for unlocking items in the Krypt. He also learns new techniques.

Characters

The PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of Armageddon contain 63 fighters (including the one that can be created by the player in Kreate a Fighter mode), the most of any Mortal Kombat or tournament fighter game to date. Krypt

It is a place where the player can unlock bonus movies, artwork, costumes, hidden characters and music tunes.

Motor Kombat

The game has a mode in which the players can race with karts. The karts are driven by the Mortal Kombat fighters. They have different abilities. The game is similar to Mario Kart 64.
