Metal Gear Solid 4 gets official release
MSG 4 world wide release date is confirmed by Konami to be June 12, 2008. There will be three different versions the "Standard Version" including METAL GEAR Online Starter Pack, the "Special Edition" including a Blu-ray Disc of bonus features in addition to the everything included in the Standard Version, and the "Premium Pack" which includes a PLAYSTATION 3 Console in addition to the Special Edition. EA does not buy Take Two
EA announced that they want to buy take two for $26 per a share. The board of directors of Take two has rejected the offer in a chain of letter back and forth by John and the Take two board of directors. If EA had bought Take two there would be several pros and cons. For one the stocks would go up and things would be less console exclusive. On the con side games would have lots of compilations and expansions released, 2K Sports would be replaced by EA, and the quality of games would be lowered. Read more

New Leisure Suit Larry game gets a trailer
The new game in the Leisure Suit Larry game shows its first trailer today. It parodies the Mad World Gears of War trailer where Larry Laffer runs from zombies. The new game is titled Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust is planned for Q4 of 2008 and will be released on the Xbox 360. Read more

Mortal Kombat: Devastation will probably suck
Chris "Mink" Morrison has been hired to direct the new Mortal Kombat movie. Morrison has directed Full Clip in 2004 and the adventure thriller Into the Sun in 2005. Mortal Kombat: Devastation will be a reboot of the franchise from the bottom up. Just hope Midway has a say in the plot for some consistancy. Read more
