The sequel to Advance Wars. Here, you play as every nation, from Orange Star to Blue Moon, as you try and defeat the Black Hole Army, led by Sturm, the boss of the first Advance Wars game. This game, along with Advance Wars, was not released in Japan until a recent 2-in-1 pack due to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

- New CO's. Each country now has 3 CO's each.
- A single new unit, the tough, walking tanks called Neo Tanks.
- New Gameplay factors, such as pipes that must destroyed, enemy factories that can pump out several enemies at once, and cannons that have a huge range.
- Super CO Powers. Now, you can continue to build up your CO Power and unleash more powerful effects.
