Battlecruiser 3000 AD (usually referred to as BC3K) is a game released for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows. It is one of the longest-developed games in computer game history, being under development for seven years, and was still extremely bug-ridden when it was released.

Gameplay[ | ]

It had three primary gaming modes:

  • Free Flight: Player freely cruises the galaxy and learn the incredible array of controls and computer interfaces without fear of attack by alien craft or pirates.
  • Advanced Campaign Mode: In this mode the game is dynamic, and changes can occur rapidly and often through political and military influences.
  • Xtreme Carnage Combat Simulator: It is a combat simulator that allows player to gain experience in combat operations, both planet bound and in free flight.
