In case the Square-Enix fans didn't have enough Final Fantasy VII material, Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis is a mobile phone game. It is a spin-off of FF7, focusing on the Turks and whatever it is that they do. The game takes place one year before the events of FF7, making it a prequel.
It was released in Japan in 2004 and will be released in North America, Europe, and Australia on the 12th of Never. It was released for a specific line of phones with a specific service. Gamers interested in playing the game have to play a monthly subscription. In return, Square-Enix releases a chapter every once in a while, to further the games story. There are at least 18 chapters available.
