Bowling is a game released for the Atari 2600
It is a simple arcade-like game approach to bowling: you line your man up to where you want to hurl your ball down the lane, and then press the button to let it roll. The joystick is used to control the curve of the ball once it's let loose to roll. When the player knocks down all ten pins within two balls, he jumps and his shirt flashes once; if the player gets a strike (all ten pins on the first ball), he jumps and his shirt flashes a few times.
The game has six variations, besides including one- and two-player version games. Games 1 and 2 give you single-curve control, where once you make the ball curve, that's it. Games 3 and 4 give you multiple-curve control, so you can adjust the curve at any time during the roll. Games 5 and 6, the most realistic of the game variations, give you no curve control at all.
