Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is a Nintendo Game Boy Advance game, the nineteenth to be released in the Castlevania series (taking both Western and Japanese releases into account) and the sixth Castlevania title to be released on a handheld platform. The game is a 2D action adventure with some RPG elements, as were the previous Game Boy Advance titles.
