Contra (Gryzor in Japan) is an arcade game released by Konami. The game was later ported to home computers, the Famicom, Nintendo Entertainment System, Xbox Live Arcade, and as an unlockable in Contra 4.
A censored version was released in Europe, under the title of Probotector. The game featured robots, instead of human characters, to censor violence.
