Crazy Kart is a massively multiplayer online racing game game developed by Shanda Games and distributed by Zapak games and Level Up! Games. It was released in 2005 and now has nearly a million gamers.[ The game includes ]karts, avatars and levels to achieve.
Karts range from open buggies where your avatar can be seen to closed roof models based on real-world sports cars and even high-end Transformers karts - including Optimus Prime, Iron Hide, Bumble Bee and other featured Transformers from the Transformers franchise. Some regional versions of the game may include different vehicles, like jeepneys and Toyota Kijangs (known locally as the Tamaraw FX) in the Philippines. Each Kart model can also be further customized with different paint jobs and various accessories.
Crazy Kart's race tracks are numerous and have varying level of difficulties. Some tracks are built for speed while others are geared towards technique. Some of the courses even have secret passages and alternate routes making them a lot more challenging. A track's availability depends on the level of the player creating the room. As a player increases in level he gets a larger selection for tracks to choose from when creating a room. Once a room is created, players of any level may participate in the race regardless of their level, this makes high level players the most ideal room starters.
Apart from racing against friends, you can also join forces by having the race settings turned to team race where you and your team work together to ensure that the number 1 spot is yours. In this mode new power ups are unlocked making the race even more challenging.
Speed mode is where power ups are disabled. Making the race purely dependent on skill with no power ups to delay other players and improve your chances of taking the lead.
Crazy Kart's item mall offers a wide selection of items for players. The items available in item mall vary from Karts, Avatars, Kart Upgrades, Kart Accessories, Paint Jobs, and Switch-power Up. Certain items can be bought with Cash Points by topping up while others are available through Gold Points which are won per race.
These are people working from a centralised location in the countries. These users work to make the game fair for its players and have the ability to ban/unban disruptive players from the game, and have the ability to check individual player logs.
A Gamemaster or Game Master (often abbreviated as GM) is a player in a multiplayer game who acts as organizer, arbitrator, and officiant in rules situations. They are most common in co-operative games where the other players work together and are least seen in competitive games where the other players fight each other. A GM in such a game is either an experienced volunteer player or an employee who enforces the game rules, removing spammers, player killers and hackers. For their task they use special characters with special abilities like teleporting to players, summoning items and browsing the player logs to help them in their moderating tasks.
