A season pass is a form of downloadable content, used to prepay for additional content. Season pass holders can download all (or selected) downloadable content packs for the game in question, once they have been released, from the appropriate storefront. In the case of episodic games, a season pass is typically utilised to prepay for the subsequent episodes.
