Dance Dance Revolution (working title) is a music video game to be released by Konami sometime in 2010 for the North American PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Announced at E3 2009 and originally part of a series of games to be released at the same time that included the PlayStation 2 and the Wii, Dance Dance Revolution has been delayed and no absolute release date has been given.
The game was not mentioned after E3 2009 until August 2010 when the game was mentioned on the company's Facebook page as the first Dance Dance Revolution game for the PlayStation 3 with no mention of the Xbox 360, leading to the possibility that the game may be a PS3 exclusive. The game will also support the PlayStation Move along with the PlayStation Eye which allows players to take pictures of their own room to turn it into their own personalized club by adding dance club components.
For more experienced players, Dance Dance Revolution will feature a new 8-panel mode known as Octo-Move, which will add 4 diagonal directions to the existing up, down, left, right configuration, resulting in eight directions.
The following music is expected to appear in the 2010 cross-platform release of Dance Dance Revolution. The list is tentative and like previous releases of DDR song may be added or removed before the game is released.
During the presentation of the PlayStation 3 version of Dance Dance Revolution, the following music was revealed. Yellow songs represent licensed master tracks, white songs represent Konami original songs.
