EZ2ON is an online music game created by the South Korean company Retro Games. The game is currently played online at Uplay – a game portal by Dreamline.
How To Play
1. Games are played with many different types of music.
While music is playing, the player press the keys (can be changed through options) as a "note" reaches the line on the bottom of the screen.
when the round is done, players receive a score judgment for a song based on the accuracy of the note hitting the line given.
Judgment includes, from best to worst, KOOL, COOL, GOOD, MISS, and FAIL.
Successfully hitting the note in time (on the line) with the music fills a life bar in the game, while MISS/FAIL drains it.
when the life bar becomes empty, the game is over.
2. There are different modes in games: Single-Player and Multi-Player. The players are able to battle against each other's in the multi-player mode.
There are four basic difficulty levels: easy, normal, hard, and super hard.
Playing in the Multi-Player mode will enable the player to acquire about two times the amount of EXP(Experience Point) and Coin from the Single-Player mode. The more the number of players, the more they acquire.
A new system called EXR(Expertise Rating) has been introduced in the Open Beta Test. Unlike the Level Rating system, EXR judges the player's ability to score. If the player gets an ALL COMBO for a song at a certain level, the player's EXR will be equal to the level of the song.
For each mix, there are four channels: Newcomer, Beginner, Intermediate and All. Newcomer is for Level 0~5, Beginner is for EXR 0~6, Intermediate is for EXR 0~13, and All is for, literally, all players.
There are restrictions on playing certain difficulty levels. The player is allowed to play only EZ, EZ/NM, EZ/NM/HD, and EZ/NM/SHD on Newcomer, Beginner, Intermediate, and All respectively.
There are two types of Judgment Lines: New Type and Classic Type.
