Theirs a big hubbub lately over the new Xbox360 120gb harddrive, mainly because its selling for well over a standard 120gb drive that can go for in the 60-90$ range. Well let me clear some information up here because people seem to not understand what exactly they are buying. The new drive is.

- 2.5" Form Factor (Laptop size)
- 7200rpm
If you look online at pricewatch the closest External sata 120gb 2.5" you will find is in the pricerange of 150-220$ depending on the brand, so the 180$ microsoft is charging isn't exactly out of question. So why the big hubbub everytime someone brings up the new 120gb harddrive from microsoft? Well beyond just the fact people seem to find it enjoyable to bash microsoft, whether it be linux/apple/ps3 fanboys its always the same flamebait. But the fact is for what they're giving us its not a bad price, atleast not from the pricepoint of the hardware.
