An Edutainment game is characterized by games that have an educational goal as part of the game mechanics. Typical Edutainment games teach the player skills such as typing, math, language, geography, history, etc, but can also be used to develop social skills such as teamwork and sharing. The majority of Edutainment games are aimed at young children, although some exist for older children and even adults.
