Engine Software is a Dutch video game developer, located in Doetinchem, the Netherlands, who specialize in handheld games. They have also developed middleware for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.

Engine Software was founded in 1995, and with that is the oldest game developer in the Netherlands still in business. They have worked on developing games for the Super Nintendo, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, PocketPC, PC, digiBlast and more recently on Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable and WiiWare.

Most of the development work that Engine Software does is in a supporting role to other game developers, rather than completely developing a title on their own.
