Fable: The Lost Chapters is an expansion to the released Fable. The game cost $19.99 USD when released for the Xbox and contained new spells, facial gestures, creatures, and quests.
Intended to address many weaknesses in the original Fable, The Lost Chapters added new quests, weapons, locations, and a new plot strand that continues on after the defeat of the original's final boss. Despite being essentially an expansion it does not require the original game, nor is it compatible with save files from the original.
