One of
the three goddesses who created the world, Farore cultivated the land and allowed life to flourish. Farore is symbolic of the wind, life, and courage.
Farore's Wind, a magic item
Link can acquire in
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, can be used to teleport Link between two points inside a dungeon. She is the sister of
Din and
Nayru.
The Goddesses were first introduced in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, however, Farore was not named until The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. She has appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages as the Oracle of Secrets, buys a house in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and briefly appeared in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker after Link gives Farore's Pearl to her statue.
