Faruk Yerli is a Turkish game developer. In 1999 he and his two brothers founded game developer Crytek which is known for notable games like Far Cry, Crysis, and Crysis Warhead. He and his brothers developed the CryEngine, considered the first photo-realistic real-time 3D graphics engine. The Crysis series in particular was regarded as having the most advanced real-time 3D graphics for years, from 2007 to 2012.
