Dragonfire is a game released for the Atari 2600, the ColecoVision, the Intellivision, and home computers.
Gameplay[ | ]
You play a prince whose job is to sneak into the castles being taken over by dragons and steal all the valuable treasures in the chambers and rush out of there before you get a "farewell toast" by the dragons' fiery breaths. You start off crossing a bridge where you are to duck and jump over flaming fireballs in order to reach the other side. Then, once you're inside, you have to move fast in the room and get all the treasures while avoiding the dragons' breath in order to make the door of escape appear. The game constantly repeats itself with the difficulty level increasing.
