Hey You, Pikachu! is a Nintendo 64 and wii game that uses a Voice Recognition Unit and a microphone to interact with Pikachu, the mascot of the Pokémon series. It was the first of several future voice recognition games that Nintendo would put out. The game was also, at one point, bundled with a Special Pokémon Nintendo 64.
This game was intended for children because the voice recognition software was tuned to recognize the voice of a six-year old. It was made to simulate virtual life with a Pokémon. To add to the immersion, the game is based entirely in a first-person perspective that was created in a sense that you were living with and interacting with Pokémon.
