Ratchet & Clank:Size Matters
Developed by:High Impact
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters is the sequel to Ratchet:Deadlocked. After the previous game Ratchet and Clank needed a vacation.Unfortunately they were interrupted by a school girl working on a project named Luna. She gets captured later on and Ratchet and Clank must rescue her, only to discover an ancient race mentioned in stories of how technology works.
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters is shorter than it's pedecessors, but still features the same gameplay. It was released for the PSP(Playstation Portable) and the Playstation 2.The PSP version was better rated then the Playstation 2 version. It featured Multiplayer as well, but sadly it's servers were shutdown around 27 June 2012.
Gameplay
The Gameplay is much like it's predecessors. The PSP version was also amazing since it worked well without a right analogstick used in the previous games
Weapons were the major role of the game.Upgrading and buying to ones was important
The game featured the ability to upgrade them. This feature has been in the franchise
since Ratchet and Clank 2:Going Commando. Not only were weapons important, but also
gadgets.Devices that helped you progress in he game. There were always fewer gadgets than
weapons and that fact stands up to this game as well. The game is basically a platformer
with loads of weapons and gadgets. You must fight, progress and solve puzzles in the
game. Not only to mention that you could play as Ratchet's robot friend "Clank" during the
game.
Graphics
The graphics were splendid and smooth on the PSP version, but the Playstation 2 version wasn't entirely up to that.
Even though it has smooth and excellent graphics it's environment was also lively. It's graphics isn't as good as it's pedecessors, but still excellent.
Sound
The "thonk!" noise when you hit someone wasn't that great and very soft, but the sounds were lively and
matched the environment.
