Scrin Ship

The so-called Scrin Vessel or Scrin Ship was a massive aircraft built by Nod using alien technology.During the events of the First Tiberium War, the Brotherhood of Nod managed to recover several artifacts of obviously alien origin, the most important being the Tacitus and a crashed saucer of alien origin.

Blueprints and technology gleaned from the Tacitus allowed the Brotherhood to construct this warship in total secrecy. However, by the time it was finished, the war was slowly coming to an end and the vessel was abandoned. It laid abandoned in a classified location for many years, until Kane reappeared and ordered the Brotherhood to retrieve the craft. Unfortunately, Vega, a Nod general, disobeyed Kane's orders and attempted to use the battleship to settle an old score in South America. He couldn't control it, though, and the alien ship crashed in Sector 9 in North America.

Acting quickly, Slavik's forces were able to locate and secure the craft before GDI, later establishing their own research base to salvage the technology contained in the ship. However, after discovering the crash and launching a successful assault into the region, GDI forces managed to occupy the crash site from Nod forces. Noticing the loss of the site to GDI, Kane reluctantly ordered the craft to be destroyed, in order to prevent the enemy from digging deeper into his secrets.

Despite an Ion Storm preventing initial reinforcements, McNeil skillfully managed to protect the craft with only a handful of troops. After a fierce battle, the storm subsided, allowing GDI reinforcements to arrive by dropships. Kane's plan had failed, and the site was permanently secured for GDI.
