Northshire Valley is the Human starting area in World of Warcraft. It is located in Elwynn Forest. It is recommended for levels 1-5. While not a zone in its own right, it nonetheless has a dedicated map entry.
Overview[ | ]
There are various Human trainers and vendors located around the central tower. A small stream cuts across dividing the location of the vineyard. Blackrock Invaders, Worgs, and Goblin Assassins have been giving the new recruits trouble. The vineyard has been ransacked of grapes, and is now an inferno, and on the other side of the battle-torn field is the leader of the attack. The mine has been gated shut, however, a player may encounter a named Kobold that guards the outside of the mine.

In World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Northshire Valley received an update, including quests, enemies, and zone appearance.
