TimeShift is a first-person shooter where the main character is a resistance fighter who can manipulate time using a special device known as The Suit. The Suit also has a built-in shield, and can regenerate the player's health. It also detects nearby danger.
Time Shifting
The Suit has a built in recharging power pack which is used up while manipulating time, but recharges fairly fast. It can rewind, slow down, or pause time. Once the desired time shifting effect is selected, the power pack begins to drain. The effect continues until the power pack is completely drained or the effect is cancelled.
Health
The Suit's shield protects the character from some damage, however if too much damage is taken, the suit can regenerate health while the character is not currently taking damage. Ducking behind cover can allow full recovery from the point of near death.
Danger
The Suit's state of the art sensors allow it to detect explosives, unstable surfaces, incoming enemies and other dangers that could have proved harmful or fatal to an unwarned character.
