Stampede is a game released for the Atari 2600 and Intellivision.
Gameplay[ | ]
You play a cowpoke on a horse whose job is to round up as many of them dogies as you can without letting too many stray behind you. There are three brands of dogies to capture that move at various speeds, plus a bull brand that stands still that will cause your horse to rear if you make contact with it. (There's also a skull that does the same thing, though it won't cost you a stray if you let it pass.) In order to keep the dogies from straying, you can rope them or you can nudge them to move forward by touching them, but you can't keep nudging them indefinitely; they will start to get really stubborn.
