Vivian is one of Mario's partners in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Although she starts out as an enemy, through a turn of events in the Fourth Chapter, she joins Mario's party.

- In many translations of the game, including the original Japanese version, Vivian is depicted as transgender, identifying as female but referred to as male by other characters, including her sisters. In the English and German-language versions, Vivian was depicted as a cisgender female in order to reach the desired age rating.
