This is a screenshot of combat in Battle for Wesnoth, version 1.0.1. The elves, dressed in green and marked with violet circles, are fighting the orcs marked with yellow circles. Some of the health meters (green, yellow, or red) show damage. The experience meters (the small blue ones to the right of the health meters) show the progress of each unit toward advancing to the next level. The elves have blue spheres above their health meters; this shows that they are allies of the player, but not controlled by the player. The "5" and "8" indicate damage to those units during combat.
