Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection was a rumoured upcoming compilation of Final Fantasy series titles, planned for release in 2017, initially reported by VG 24/7. It would have been released on a single BD-ROM for the PlayStation 4, and on a single PlayStation Vita Game Card for the PlayStation Vita


Regular Edition

Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI would each have been included as two versions; the original Family Computer/Nintendo Entertainment System release, and their respective mobile ports. Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX would have been based on the latest PC ports.

Collector's Edition

The Collector's Edition would have included all the video games in the Regular Edition, plus a poster, art book, 8-bit Black Mage keychain, Chocobo plush, and two discs with a selection of songs chosen by Nobuo Uematsu.

Crystal Complete Edition

In addition to the video games contained in the Regular Edition, the Crystal Complete Edition would have included the following additional video games:

Special items for Final Fantasy XI Mobile and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn would have also been included.

This edition also would have included all the physical content included in the Collector’s Edition, plus two extra discs for the soundtrack, a crystal necklace, a Moogle plush, a Black Mage statue, all three Final Fantasy Trading Card Game starter decks, plus Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV and Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV. Everything would have been packed in a luxury chest decorated with the Final Fantasy logo.
