Formula One Championship Edition is a racing video game developed by SCE Studio Liverpool and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. The game is based of the 2006 Formula One Season. The game follows the same structure as F1 2006 but with updated graphics, better detail, car reflections, dynamic weather, smarter AI and Sixaxis support. The game features the same modes in F1 2006 and previous F1 games. The career mode is exactly the same as F1 2006 with obvious minor differences. Like previous games, the game features in-game commentary from then ITV F1 commentators Martin Brundle and James Allen.
