Gex: Enter the Gecko, also known as Gex 64, is only the 2nd game in the Gex line. It once again stars the platforming gecko, Gex. No longer bound by the 3DO, this mascot will be exploring worlds following the template that Super Mario 64 set forth. The game has much more contemporary subject material, with lots of wackiness and pop culture references.

Gex's task is to collect remote controls. They come in a variety of colors and a variety of purposes, such as opening up bonus stages where you can acquire extra lives. You'll be finding these remote controls by utilizing Gex's jumping abilities to get around, beating up enemies, and accomplishing tasks in certain levels. He's got lots of costumes that reference existing characters like Bugs Bunny, 007 (See box) and Indiana Jones.
