Givro Corporation (株式会社 ギブロ Kabushiki-kaisha Giburo?) was a Japanese video game development company founded in 1989 in Tokyo, Japan by former employees of Technos Japan. The company was originally established under the name Almanic Corporation (株式会社 アルマニック Kabushiki-kaisha Arumaniku?), which it operated under for five years before changing its corporate name in 1995.[1] Givro would go on to produce games for home consoles such as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Mega Drive, Sega 32X, and Nintendo 64, as well as the NEC PC-9801 microcomputer.[2][3] Givro released their final game in late 1996 and quietly dissolved at the end of the following year.[4]
