In the games
Diamond and Pearl: Lucario is a generation 4 pokemon that evolves from Riolu. After successfully getting through Iron Island with Riley, he will give you an egg which will eventually hatch into a Riolu that will evolve into a Lucario with proper training and happiness. Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Lucario is an unlockable character. It's attacks get stronger as it gains more damage.
In the anime
Lucario makes it's debut in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, where Lucario is one of the main protagonists.
Pokedex Entry
It has the ability to sense tha aura of all living things. It understands human speech.
