Halo: Contact Harvest is a novel set in the Halo universe being written by Joseph Staten, a longtime employee of Bungie Studios, developer of the Halo video game series. Joseph has been the longtime director of the cutscenes seen in the Halo series thus far. Staten is a major contributor to the stories in the game and is now expanding the story into this book. It will be released on October 2, 2007, and will be the fifth novel set in the Halo universe.
