iTradeVideoGames is a website that helps in the trading of used video games. Games are traded to other users of the site in exchange for a virtual currency (iBucks) that can then be used to purchase games from other users. Each game has an iBuck value set by the maintainers of the website. iBucks are added to an account upon confirmation from the receiver that the game has been received, they can also be purchased for $1.00 USD, or traded to other users but paid for through services like EBay.

"Buying" a game also requires the use of iTrades. Like iBucks, iTrades have a value of $1.00 USD but can only be bought from iTradeVideoGames. Each "purchase" of a video game costs one iTrade (plus whatever the cost is in iBucks) and an additional iTrade for insurance, "selling" games does not require any iTrades. Having insurance protects users in case a damaged game is received. After mailing the damaged game to iTradeVideoGames, the iBucks that were spent will be credited back to the account.

The benefits of trading games through iTradeVideoGames is that there can be better trade-in values than retail stores like Game Crazy/Game Rush. It would be best to take in account the entire collection of game values but one compairison of iTVG versus retail stores is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for the Xbox. At iTVG Morrowind is $8.00 flat for buyers and sellers. At Game Crazy the trade in value is $6.00 and purchase price is $12.99. This makes the seller an extra $2.00 (most likely spent on shipping) and saves the buyer $3.99 (minus $1.00 for the cost of one iTrade assuming no insurance).

The transfer of the games are handled by the users much like EBay by coordinating transfer through mail.
