Laharl is the main protagonist of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness and appears as a bonus character throughout the series.

Laharl is the son of King Krichevskoy, and the next in succession to be the Overlord of the Netherworld.

Laharl has been known to be 'hurt' by words of kindness and hope. The worst being 'Eternal Love'. He has also been known to be disgusted by woman's sexy bodies.

Although Laharl usually uses his scarf as wings to fly, it has been shown that Laharl does have wings. They are just extremely tiny.
