A Launch Title is a game that is released at the same time as a console. Launch titles greatly determine whether a console has had a good or bad launch. Examples of stand out launch titles that helped the system gather sales & critical acclaim are Lumines for the PSP and Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.
