Mario Kart Wii is a kart racing video game by Nintendo for the Wii. The game was released in April 2008.

The new version of Mario Kart features new vehicles and lets players near and far compete using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Nintendo’s wireless gaming access service. Mario Kart launched with the Wii Wheel, a steering wheel adaptor for the Wii Remote that brings new controls and challenges for veteran gamers, while making getting into a race easy and intuitive for newcomers. Remote and Nunchuk, Classic, and GameCube controllers can also be used.

12 racers compete in a four-course cup. The top three racers at the end of all four races receive a trophy.

Fight the CPU in as many as all thirty-two races in random order or any track you select. You can also play in teams or just alone. Teams are randomly made and you will be on either Team Blue or Team Red.
