Michael Jackson: The Experience
Talk0this wiki
Michael Jackson: The Experience is a music/dance/rhythm video game based on Michael Jackson's music and songs. It will be developed and published by Ubisoft, and will be released some time in November 2010 (around the same time as the release of Jackson's first posthumous album). It will be the first game to make use of the Xbox 360's Kinect and the Sony PlayStation 3's PlayStation Move. It will also appear on Nintendo Wii.[1][2] The game will feature many of Michael Jackson's hits, such as "Bad," "Beat It," "Black or White," "Smooth Criminal," "They Don't Care About Us," and "Billie Jean".
Gameplay
Edit
The game uses Ubisoft's proprietary technology called Player Projection. The form of the body will be projected on screen in environments inspired by Michael Jackson's most famous video and live performances. The data collected this way will allow the game to trigger various effects, visuals and even the music itself.
There will be several modes of play in this version of the game. The only one revealed until now is Michael's School, where players will be able to rehearse before their show. Video training will be available for each of the Michael Jackson moves available in the game.
Four player multiplayer will be available on the Wii and Move enabled PlayStation 3 but the Kinect will be limited to one player at a time. The game will also feature singing on the Kinect version, and optional Karaoke on the PlayStation 3 and Wii versions.
