Miniclip is a games and entertainment services website, "Miniclip.com". The Miniclip.com site offers browser-based games, cartoons and Ecards. The site was first launched in 2000. Miniclip offers content in English, French, Spanish, German, Portugues, Italian, Korean and Chinese. Most games are authored in Macromedia Flash or Shockwave. A few are written in Java. A majority of the games are free to play online. Some of the free online games are massive multplayer games which also have premium subscriptions available. It is the world's largest online games website, with 34 million unique users per month - source, Google Analytics, December, 2006. It is also the largest privately held website on the Internet. Its popularity originally arose from a game called Dancing Bush.
