Look and fear it
The fabled "Real Life" (often referred to as RL in online forums) is a bizarre form of non-simulated existence that tends to take place on the planet Earth. It is talked about and experienced by people of all ages and types. These people report back to us and tell us of it's existence in forms like "When was the last time you went outside?" and, my personal favorite, "Why don't you go get some sun?" (Sun later referred to as "the Wicked Day Star"). These people with "Real Life" will later be called "the outsiders".

One could argue that this "Real Life" is nothing but a fallacy and at best it is extremely subjective. Those that are controlled by "Real Life" are also controlled by the wicked day star and all it's trappings. Their habits, moods, and plans are all conducted under it (sometimes referred to as work). In rare cases water in its many forms comes falling down from the "sky" pelting them, covering the "ground", and drowning the outsiders. You could say that this wicked day star is the cause of all this, which is true.
[edit] Games that emulate Real Life
It is generally suggested that instead of risking taking part in real life, that people play these games as an alternative. They provide a similar experience, though with the added benefit of cheats, a reset button, saving, and a complete lack of real consequences. Note, however, that none of these games fully emulate real life properly, and the acts in them should not be brought into the Real Life. Assuming you wanted to.

- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Harvest Moon
- The Sims 2
- Nintendogs
- Animal Crossing (sort of)
- And to the best of the editor's knowledge, Tetris.
