A company called Reaper Miniatures produced officially licensed miniatures based on Doom and Doom II characters from September 1997 to July 1999. The line featured miniatures of the Doomguy (protagonist), Trooper, Sergeant, Chaingunner, Imp, Demon, Lost Soul, Cacodemon, Pain Elemental, Revenant, Mancubus, Baron of Hell, Arachnotron, Arch-Vile, and Cyberdemon.
Three of the miniatures — the Baron, Mancubus, and Demon — were offered as Doom 3 pre-order bonuses. GameStop, EB Games, and Best Buy each had one as their own store exclusive; Best Buy in addition offered their miniature online for $10 without a game order. In the Australian market, the Lost Soul figure was also released with Doom 3 pre-orders. It was actually possible to obtain a miniature for free by reserving the game in a store, getting the miniature at the time of reservation, and then canceling the order.
An extremely rare prototype Cyberdemon model has been reported to exist, rejected by id Software who wanted him larger and in a different pose.
