The game is split into 3 areas: Clarksville, Lake Minniwahwah and Boom City. Within the areas, Jake has to collect bones by completing missions so he can move on to the next area. The most unique feature of the game is Smellovision. Here, Jake can collect certain coloured scents so he can compete in challenges that result in him winning a bone.
