Rock Revolution is a music/rhythm game published by Konami that was released on October 15, 2008.

Gameplay[ | ]

The gameplay in Rock Revolution is similar to Guitar Hero and Rock Band, in that players simulate playing rock music with instrument shaped peripherals. The game does not feature singing as a gameplay option however. The game has its own drum peripheral, but either a Rock Band or Guitar Hero guitar controller must be used to play guitar songs. The notes on screen scroll down vertically rather than the tilted angle seen in similar rhythm games.

Set List[ | ]

The console version of the game has 41 songs, while the DS version has 20. The game's songs are almost all covers, with the exception of "Given Up' by Linkin Park and "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven.

Reception[ | ]

The game was panned by critics. The various versions of the game average between 40% and 46% on Gamerankings[1]
