Rotten Tomatoes is a review website that collects the various reviews from critics concerning a movie, and bases its own review on the general consensus of the critics.

The rating system collects information from various reviewers, and determines each of them to be either a good or bad review. The Rotten Tomatoes is a percentage of good reviews within its entire set of reviews.
Rotten Tomatoes then decides whether a movie is good or bad; a good movie has at least a rating of 60%.
