The Kingdom Hearts series is a video game series created by Square Enix (the same company that does the Dragon Quest series). The Kingdom Hearts series is unique, as it combines elements from Disney and Final Fantasy together as well as having original characters and settings. The first game in the series is Kingdom Hearts which follows the story of Sora.

The first game in the series follows the story of a 14 year old boy named Sora who lives on Destiny Island with his two best friends, Kairi and Riku. After his island is destroyed by the power of darkness, he becomes separated from his friends and finds himself in another world with the ability to control the keyblade. He befriends Donald Duck and Goofy Goof who assist him on his quest to find his friends.
