Summary
The third expansion pack for EverQuest, this one introduces a new race, the Vah Shir and a new class, the Beastlord. Also including in this expansion is new otherworldly areas to explore, namely Luclin, Norrath's moon! Besides the new areas, class and race, Shadows of Luclin brought to players a new graphics engine, which forced many players to upgrade their machines to see the character models. Also SoL brought to players the practice of Alternate Advancement levels, or AA's, where a player level 52 or above would divide the experience gained between getting to the next level or putting that exp towards a new ability or stat increase.
