Brock is a gym leader in the Pokémon series of video games and a reoccurring character in the Pokémon anime.
In Pokémon Red and Blue (and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen), he is the second gym leader encountered by the player. He awards the Boulder Badge to the player when he is defeated.
