Super Mario Strikers (Mario Smash Football in Europe) is a new Mario sports game, this time with Soccer/Football. It was developed by Next Level Games who made NHL Hitz. Instead of choosing an entire team of trademark characters, players instead choose a character to be the captain, while the rest of the team is made up of minor characters called "side kicks." Side kicks include Toads, Hammer Bros, Koopa Troopa's, and Birdo's.
