Super Mario Kart benefited more from the DSP(Digital Signal Processing) chip, the precursor Super FX chip in regards to sprite scaling. It's still a good example of Mode 7, but what made Super Mario Kart shine was the amount of sprite scaling, rotation, and the ability to rotate and scale the background, something that even F-Zero can't do.--AlphaTwo 18:15, 19 March 2006 (CST)
