[edit] TOCleft good? or the Devil!?

I edited the Sony PlayStation article with the TOCleft and it reminded me how much better it can make a article look, as in taking out the ugly blank space between infobox and the TOC. I'd like to start adding them to pages that I just happen to see that it can improve. I'm just not sure if there are any issues or reasons why I should not add it to most long pages I see. If anyone has opinions speak up. --Porphyria Plan 10:02, 24 February 2006 (CST)

Well, check out Wikipedia's solution to the problem on their PlayStation page. I would say that, when there is an infobox present, we should do what we can to make sure that the TOC, infobox, and text don't ever appear on the same horizontal level. I looked at it on a smaller resolution monitor here at work, and it looked pretty awful and hard to read. --Achernar 10:17, 24 February 2006 (CST)
